01/15/08 - Magic Show
CASA of Ellis County hosted a special fundraising event last March which provided a night of entertainment and enjoyment to over 600 children and their families. It was a night of magic, as we were all mesmerized by "Art of Imagination", a presentation by Carson Entertainment. The audience was awestruck as the illusionist pulled live birds from colorful scarves, drew a bowling ball on a sketchpad and seconds later it bounced out on the floor, a flying table traveling across the stage, and an amazing snow storm on stage produced from a paper napkin. A highlight for the evening for a teenage foster child who spoke to the crowd about her own personal experiences and how important CASA had been in her life. It was such a great event, we are hoping to make it an annual one!
